Brown-headed screws for timber cladding
These brown stainless steel screws, 5.0 mm in diameter, are made specifically for mounting wooden façade cladding. The screw head is coated in RAL 8007, a warm brown tone, giving the façade a tidy, uniform appearance. The screws are produced from hardened C2 stainless steel and passivated for improved corrosion resistance, making them suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Design and installation
The design includes several features that make installation easier and more precise. The ribs under the head help the screw sink cleanly into the wood without causing cracks. The drill tip speeds up installation by eliminating the need for pre-drilling, and the cutter above the thread removes chips so the screw drives smoothly. A waxed surface reduces friction and makes the work easier on both tools and material. The TORX drive ensures a firm grip and reduces the chance of stripping.
